One of the requirements when creating a brand and before adding locations, is to obtain brand consent from an authorised personnel (Brand User) and to provide the brand with access to view the transactional data that is being shared.

Merchants now have access to transactions at their locations

This can be a time-consuming process, especially when setting up a program with hundreds of brands.

Today we are introducing a faster and easier way to do this. All you need to do is enter the name and email of the Brand User when creating a brand. The rest is handled by us! 🙌

We will send an email inviting the Brand User to create a brand account. By creating an account, the Brand User provides consent and will have access to transactions made by cardholders at participating locations.

You can monitor consent status on the dashboard and set up a brand.consent webhook to be notified 🔔 when the status changes.

API endpoint

Additionally, we are launching a new API endpoint that allows you to invite a Brand User using the API and automate this process. You can find the more info about the new endpoint in the API Reference.
